News update on Version 8. We are upgrading PDQ before QNotes Office Version 8 because, like Apple did last year, Google is discontinuing the database technology that is the core of PDQ. Many clients have already successfully upgraded their PDQ for Chrome. If we missed you, you will need this PDQ upgrade by May 28th. The rest of the mandatory Version 8 upgrade is scheduled for later this year. We will post here and on our web site plus we will also send a mailing.

In QNotes Office V8, we will be including Windows 12 support, Much faster printing to PDF, a new patient maintenance feature to help clean up patients accounts with over 600 notes and much more.

Happy New Year!
Just a short post to let you know that we are aware that the button is defaulting to 01/01/2024 and not to today's date. This has been already fixed and you will need a minor update. The manual entry for today's date continues to work correctly.

Important PDQ news. Your PC or Samsung Pad that uses Chrome updated today to version 119 and no longer supports traditional databases like what the PDQ App uses. The slightly newer universal version should work on Chrome 119 and newer For right now, we have a 15 minute solution that will continue to work while we find the best solution.

Our QNotes version 8 will be slightly delayed as we ramp up to create this special PDQ update.

Please contact support for the 15 minute fix if you get a "WebKit" or "not supported" message when running PDQ on Chrome.

We updated our web site www.qnotes.com. The PDQ video links will now play full screen and the www.qnotes.com/version7 page is now up to date. We have started work on a version 8 for 2024.

First post of 2022... Happy New Year!
Version 7.2 QNotes Office is done, actually it has been done since November. The guide explaining the new features is getting some graphics updated and then we will start contacting offices. If you use a Chrome Browser then you already got part of the 7.2 update, however you still need the QNotes Office part. We had delays because of changes Google made to Chrome and changes Apple made in IOS15. The IOS15 version of PDQ is still being worked on so DO NOT UPGRADE to IOS15 yet. Read the older posts below or visit our web site for more Version 7.2 details.

Announcement: There have been a lot of forced security updates for Apple / Windows / Chrome on your PDQ devices and I am sure we are all tired of all the restarts and reboots...I know I am! Well there will be one more of these forced updates on October 5th, if you use Chrome with PDQ. Chrome is now requiring something called "Service Workers" for all Apps (like PDQ) to continue to function. We were planning on this change anyway with the 7.2 update. If you need it before we get a chance to install QNotes 7.2 do not worry. We will have you covered. Please be patient because many of our offices can be be affected all at the same time on 10/05/21.

Great News! We are readying our Microsoft Windows 11 release. This version when running on Windows 11 will include fantastic Voice Recognition powered by Microsoft's engine. Many requested changes or fixes are included with this update. This is a paid update ($129) and we are sending you a postcard and an email with all the details.

Also news worthy is... we finished switching to the new phone system with shorter messages and fewer prompts so you can reach us faster. The old system was frustrating to use, dropping calls and losing messages. This is a cloud based system so in these pandemic times or in the event of a hurricane we are always reachable. Our phone and fax phone numbers will remain the same.
