We are looking for donations to make this gathering special for these lovely girls and ladies, some of whom may not have other friends and family they will be gathering with. Our weekly somatic groups are on pause in December, but don’t worry, they’ll be back in January with new groups!

In the meantime, talk with your counselor about trying a one-on-one somatic session!

Somatic means “of the body” and sometimes it can be helpful to get out of your head and move your body. Release that trapped trauma with intentional body movements designed to meet you where you are and give you tools for the future.

Do you carry all of your stress and anxiety in your shoulders?

Tense and release is a gentle way to help the body let go of stress. It gives the mind a break, helps emotions settle, and makes it easier to feel grounded again. Many people find it helpful when they’re overwhelmed, anxious, or having trouble sleeping because it guides the body back into a sense of safety and ease.
