Otsego County Child Advocacy Center

The Otsego County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is a child-friendly and safe location for children and their non-offending family members to be interviewed and referred to appropriate services after sexual or physical abuse has occurred. At the CAC, a team of law enforcement investigators, child protective caseworkers, mental health and medical providers, prosecutors, and victim advocates work together to ensure the best possible outcome for children who have been victims of abuse.

One child abused is ONE TOO MANY.

09/11/2021

On this date 20 years ago, 246 people went to sleep ahead of their morning flights. 2,309 people went to sleep in preparation for another routine day at the office. 343 firefighters, 71 law enforcement officers, and 8 paramedics went to sleep not knowing what their next shift would bring. None of them saw past 10am the next day. In one single moment, life may never be the same.

Take a moment and think about all you are thankful for in life that can sometimes be taken for granted. Hug and kiss the ones you love. And remember those 2,977 people whose lives were tragically cut short on September 11, 2001.
