For a small child, a bath can be a fun activity complete with bubbles and toys! January is , an opportunity for adults to make sure kids stay safe while they get clean.

🛀 Supervise small children in the bath at all times and never leave water in the bathtub when it is not in use.
🛀Install no-slip strips or a mat at the bottom of the tub if they aren't built in already.
🛀Test the water with your wrist or elbow to ensure it feels warm, but not hot. When your child is old enough to bathe on their own, teach them how to adjust the water carefully.

A blanket and an activity book may seem like small things, but for patients at our cancer treatment centers, they bring so much added comfort.

During the holiday season, Poland Girl Scout Troop 20039 collected enough comfort items to fill 17 baskets, which they donated to the Cancer Treatment Center located in our Herkimer Health Center.

Thank you for the thoughtfulness and generosity!
