It’s been a FUN couple of weeks at Fountain View assisted Living and Memory Care! ❤️💜💛

From celebrating Valentine’s Day with lots of love and laughter, to learning all about Mardi Gras traditions (and of course enjoying delicious paczkis!), our residents have been busy! 🎭🎉

We’ve also had a blast playing Wheel of Fortune, Music Bingo, and so much more. There’s never a dull moment when we’re learning, laughing, and making memories together!

Please join us in giving a BIG welcome to Michelle TenHaaf, our new Life Enrichment Director! 🎉 We are so excited to have her leading activities and bringing fresh, creative ideas to our community. Welcome to leadership, Michelle! 💙

We are seeking a compassionate and organized professional to lead and coordinate our Life Enrichment Program. This role is responsible for developing and implementing engaging cognitive, physical, social, and spiritual activities that enhance residents’ quality of life. The position oversees monthly calendars and newsletters, plans special events and outings, manages volunteers, coordinates with staff and families, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, maintains a positive and respectful attitude, and is committed to supporting resident rights, safety, and overall well-being while promoting the organization’s mission and values.

Today was full of simple joys and big smiles 💛

From a lively game of Horserace, tabletop miniature golf, and puzzles with friends in Building Three, to sharing a couple of cute stories while enjoying warm cookies 🍪every moment was about connection and laughter.

It’s days like these that remind us how special it is to slow down, spend time together, and make memories along the way. So many smiles, so many laughs, and so much heart ❤️

🌟🐿️🐠 We’ve had a fun filled and engaging couple of days here! 💙

Today’s activities included learning all about groundhogs and the tradition of Groundhog Day, listening to Groundhog Day songs while coloring themed artwork, playing a lively game of “Whack-a-Groundhog,” and making delicious peanut butter oat ball treats. 🥜🍯

Residents enjoyed a calming under-the-sea experience with a relaxing ocean creatures video, tasty fish crackers and Swedish Fish for an undersea snack, and an afternoon game of bingo. 🐠🎥🎉
