We will be at the Summit County Home expo next month at the fairgrounds! We will have our annual dahlia tuber sale and ALL of our herbal remedy products!

Hey Akron! Meet BeeWell, our newest product line! Did you know the bees make us more than just honey? Bees seal their hive with propolis, a sort of bee-glue that they also use to maintain the health of their hive. Made from tree resins, the sap like substance that trees use to heal their wounds and defend themselves against viruses, we can use propolis in our medicine cabinet too!

Use our BeeWell tinctures and throat spray for oral health, or our propolis salve as a natural version of neosporin.

The big reveal will be at the Summit County Home Expo on April 17th-19th where we also will have our sting savers and calendula cream available during our dahlia tuber sale.

Only a few more weeks until this propolis tincture is officially ready! I’ve already strained a teaspoon because I couldn’t wait …and it is strong! I’m making a second batch with food grade organic vegetable glycerine for the kiddos and anyone who prefers not to use alcohol. I’ll personally probably stick to the alcohol version because it extracts the properties better and my personality teeters on the edge of no pain, no gain 😂

This year we’re focusing on our health and leaning into our bees to help us. Did you know bees produce more than just honey? And we can use those other products too!

Bees produce propolis to protect their hive. It’s not only the glue they use to seal up and cracks to keep their hive less drafty in winter, it’s their immune defense as well!

The things you find flower farming with littles. Life is always go go go. I found a handful of dried strawflower in the stroller this weekend when I was planting the ranunculus and I couldn’t help myself from taking a few pictures of them in the snow.

If you’ve ever met Mike and I, you know we like to tease each other. I will forever be disappointed that two years ago because of our sting saver I missed out on a prime opportunity to tease him. Mike was trying to do something in a hive super quick before we left without any gear on and was stung on the lip.

We were on our way out to a friend’s house and you can only imagine the witty remarks I had on standby. I expected to enjoy maybe even a little bit of a funny lisp with that swollen lip. Except it didn’t swell, you could barely even see where he was stung.

So now, our laughs begin and end at the crazy run/swat/ dance through the yard when you find yourself head to head with an angry bee. Keep an eye out, because we both tease that one day we will get the other on camera and post it — it’s only a matter of time until someone’s successful. Between the amount of times they’re mad at me for cutting flowers too close to the hive and him actually doing the bulk of the beekeeping it could end up being either of us as your prime entertainment.

Hi All! —

I could really use your input before we get into the season this year! We loved seeing people consistently at the stand last fall picking their favorite flowers, it really helped me learn what color combinations you like best. Should we switch our Copley pick up location to the stand this year or stick with Brighten?

Also, if you can like follow and share our page it would help us get into the local algorithms and get the best feedback from our amazing community!
