Our Forum Health family is heartbroken to share that Dr. Steven Meress passed away on February 18. He was a deeply respected physician and valued member of our community.

Dr. Meress was a long-time friend and colleague of the Forum Health community, particularly in Fond du Lac, where he cared for patients and built lasting relationships for decades. He dedicated his life to advancing functional and integrative medicine and to mentoring physicians and care teams across our organization. Many of you knew him not only as a respected clinician, but as a steady and reassuring presence.

He was often described as the kind grandfather in the room; thoughtful, patient, and generous with his time and knowledge. Dr. Meress played an important role in shaping the culture of collaboration and learning that continues to define Forum Health today, and his impact will be felt for years to come through the many colleagues and patients he influenced.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and to all of you who had the privilege of working alongside him, especially our WI team who worked most closely with him over the years.
