It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of one of our owners, Maryann Bell.

Maryann was more than a leader at Angels on the Horizon; she was a mentor, clinical director, and a compassionate presence who devoted her life to helping others heal. Even while facing her own battle with cancer, she continued to show up with strength, professionalism, and grace, remaining committed to the mission and the people she cared for so deeply.

Her dedication to ethical, client-centered care and her unwavering support for both staff and clients shaped the foundation of our clinic. She offered wisdom, encouragement, and steady guidance, leaving a lasting impact on the clinicians she mentored and the countless lives she touched.

Maryann helped build the heart of Angels on the Horizon. Her legacy will live on in the work we do, the care we provide, and the standards she helped establish.

We ask that you keep her family, loved ones, and all who had the privilege of knowing her in your thoughts during this difficult time. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Honoring the Fallen, Supporting the Living
This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is a solemn reminder of the cost of freedom.

But as we remember the fallen, we must also care for the living.

For many, this day brings waves of grief, survivor’s guilt, or painful memories. Veterans, families, and civilians may find this holiday stirring emotions that are difficult to navigate.

At Angels on the Horizon, we believe healing begins with compassion. If today feels heavy, you are not alone. Mental health is just as important as physical health, especially for those carrying invisible wounds.

You are seen. You are valued. You matter.
