4 Simple Ways to Reframe Stress When Life Feels Overwhelming
(Because sometimes your mind makes things feel bigger than they are.)

1. Ask yourself what’s actually wrong
Is the situation truly the problem, or just today’s loudest inconvenience?
Clarity reduces overwhelm.

2. Separate stress from storyline
Notice the difference between the event… and the meaning your mind adds to it.
Half the weight comes from the story we tell ourselves.

3. Ground yourself with perspective
You’re allowed to say, “This is hard… but it’s not the end of the world.”
Perspective isn’t dismissing your feelings — it’s putting them in context.

4. Focus on the next doable step
Forget the whole mountain.
Just take the next step you can manage right now.
Small actions calm big emotions.

✨ Therapy can help you figure out what matters, what doesn’t, and what’s simply taking up space in your mind.

Prioritizing women’s health means looking at physical, mental, and preventive care together. This blog from Coral Gables Counseling explains practical steps women can take to protect their health and get the support they need.

Read the full article below and learn how small changes can make a big difference.

By Elizabeth Schaul, MHC Intern October is a time when we often pause to focus on women’s health. It is a reminder of how deeply connected our physical and emotional well-being truly are.

✨ Prioritize your whole health, not just the physical. ✨
Women often juggle so much that self-care gets pushed aside — but emotional wellness is health too. 🌿

Here’s how to start putting yourself first ⬇️
💫 Schedule your check-ups. Regular doctor visits are an act of self-respect — prevention is power.
đź’« Care for your mind, too. Therapy, journaling, and mindfulness help you manage stress and reconnect with yourself.
💫 Protect your energy. Choose rest, peace, and people who uplift you — not drain you.
💫 Set boundaries. Saying “no” is a form of self-care and makes room for what truly matters.
💫 Celebrate progress. Every small step toward balance, joy, and calm counts. 🌸

You deserve to feel your best — inside and out. 💕
