Marriage is full of compromises … but aging for me is not one of them.

Couples that get treatment together - stay together.

Quick rundown of procedures for those who asked : Earlobe filler, facial, lip filler, radiofrequency for the eyes, neck Sculptra, LED light for hair regrowth, ablative resurfacing for skin, micro current, collagen mask, radiofrequency for the neck 🫶

This is my face a day after ablative laser, and suffice it to say it is a procedure where you want to make sure you have proper aftercare, proper oversight and avoid infection and other complications. People take medical procedures lightly and they should not be. I get so many messages about post procedure complications that are not followed up by the doctor or practitioner - it is truly scary out there.

And to my point in the video, if you are a patient - try to have some grace about timelines, not everything in medicine is cookie cutter and we are all trying the best we can to make sure things run smoothly. But some things are unavoidable as the human body does not always read the textbook. If you have ever fainted during a cosmetic procedure or any medical procedure you know what I’m talking about … but other things can happen too.

Life of a doctor, you are a patient not a client, are there complications during cosmetic procedures, where should you look for board certification

I love a good skincare regimen (not face yoga), but many of the things you can do at home will help MAINTAIN your treatments, they don’t move the needle forward significantly in terms of anti-aging. They work in CONJUNCTION with treatments you do in office. Everything has its’ place - Love, your friendly board-certified dermatologist.

RP with a tweak:

Do red light masks work, can skincare give you better skin, does face yoga help with antiaging

Your skin has a memory. And it never forgets UV exposure.

What you do in your teens and 20s shows up decades later — as sagging, pigment, and skin cancer.

Aging well isn’t about chasing treatments. It’s about protecting what you have, early and consistently.

Daily sunscreen isn’t optional.
It’s preventive medicine.

Literally what goes through my head when I hear all the sunscreen scaring, beef tallow lovers. UV rays are the single biggest factor in HOW you will age, and also the number one contributor to skin cancer. Let them rub on beef tallow, we will continue to protect ourselves no matter what the influencers say.

Wedding this summer? 💍✨
Here’s the exact timeline I use to get my brides (and grooms 👀) camera-ready - starting 6 months out.

Glowy skin doesn’t happen in 2 weeks.
It happens with planning, precision, and patience.

This guide walks you through:
• When to start skincare
• When to trial Botox & lasers
• When to add Sculptra or filler
• When to stop treatments
• What to do the week of the wedding

✨ And yes — this timeline works for grooms, mothers of the bride/groom, and wedding party too.

Save this. Share it with your bridal group chat.

Say the word WEDDING below and I’ll send you my week of skincare must haves that I used and tell my patients to use !

When should I start Botox before my wedding, How far in advance should brides get laser treatments, Is Sculptra good before a wedding, how should I plan aesthetic treatments before a wedding

New year, same skin—just better boundaries.

Before you buy anything new, do a true skincare reset. That means checking expiration dates (yes, even medical-grade), respecting the PAO symbol, tossing anything that’s caused irritation, and being honest about what you actually use.

Dirty brushes, expired products, and cluttered routines can quietly sabotage your skin barrier and trigger breakouts, irritation, or infections. More products ≠ better skin. Consistency, hygiene, and intention always win.

This is your reminder: finish what works, simplify your regimen, and declutter your skincare and your life !

✨ Save this and do your cleanse before your next skincare purchase.

How do I know if my skincare products are expired, what does the period after opening symbol mean in skincare, can expired skincare cause breakouts or irritation, how often should I clean my makeup brushes to prevent acne, how many skincare products do I really need for healthy skin

There are a few aesthetic opinions I will always stand by - even when they’re unpopular.

Aesthetics done well is nuanced, individualized, and rooted in anatomy, aging biology, and long-term planning - not trends or shortcuts.

Fillers aren’t the villain.
Energy devices aren’t the enemy.
Botox isn’t magic on its own.

The problem is misuse, poor assessment, and treating symptoms instead of the cause.

Longevity > instant gratification.

Save this if you care about aging well ✨

Not everything deserves to come with us into a New Year.
As a cosmetic dermatologist, these are the cosmetic and skincare trends I’m intentionally leaving behind in 2025 - and what I’m choosing to move toward instead.

Things I’m leaving in 2025:
✨ Toddler-targeted masks and skincare
✨ Anything claiming to be “the same as Botox”
✨ Injecting products not approved or made for injection (ahem… PDGF)
✨ Romanticizing treatments done abroad when many are the same as those available in the U.S.
✨ Waiting until the end of weight loss to consider aesthetic treatments
✨ Fear-based narratives around “Ozempic face”
✨ Not properly vetting injector licensure and legality
✨ Treating filler as the enemy instead of a tool

What I’m carrying forward into 2026:
✨ Undetectable, thoughtful work
✨ Long-term results over short-term fixes
✨ Treatments and lasers individualized — not “what your friend had”
✨ Respecting aesthetic medicine as medicine, not a bargain blow-dry
✨ Properly timing aesthetic treatments during weight loss — not waiting until the end
✨ The future of regenerative medicine, skin longevity, and evidence-based skincare
✨ A continued focus on skin health and overall wellness

Less noise.
More intention.
Better outcomes.
