If you have recently stepped out of ceremony or retreat space, keep in mind that it is normal to feel things intensify after experiencing the rawness depth of peace and new perspectives that become available to us in the space of sacred container.

Be gentle with yourself. Allow the experience to become the north star that you continue stepping towards every day. You are now in the integration phase. In this phase insights become aligned, action and obstacles are met with patience and the commitment to engage perspective, behaviors, and ways of relating that are aligned with all you now know to be true.

Life has its ups and downs, and though it can be challenging, these ebbs and flows are completely normal. This is so important to learn because our culture frequently sends the message that the "ups" are the only place to be.

In doing so, we are fed an underlying implication that anything less than feeling "good" equals feeling "bad". The messages take things one step further, indicating that if something feels less than good, there must be something problematic and wrong with us. Our minds jump so quickly to a personal level and I'm here to tell you - these messages ARE MYTH.

As we learn the truth, we expand our expectations, opening our optics to a new range of normal within the shifting tides of our emotional lives. These new understandings open us to deep levels of relief. And doors open for us to get to know more of our authentic selves - sans the judgment.

Learning to honor emotions is a journey that invites us to cultivate new relationships with a range of NORMAL emotions. As we do so, our values shift, and we begin to feel more confident, clear, and at ease in our lives. Whether we are currently feeling happy or are facing some of our biggest challenges, each of these experiences is natural and welcome, and together, they make us who we are.
