Our April “Pop-Up” Wonder & Grow class was a SUCCESS! 🫶✨ Once a month, mamas + babies join us at for a special Saturday filled with connection, learning, and PLAY.

These sessions are intentionally designed to support communication and developmental milestones through movement-based, play-centered experiences 🙌❤️

This class is ideal for:
• Babies 6–15 months
• Parents who want to SUPPORT communication, sensory development, and fine & gross motor skills
• Parents who want to better understand their baby’s social-emotional development
• Anyone seeking COMMUNITY with other caregivers 🤍

We’re currently hosting these as monthly pop-ups (not weekly), so stay tuned for our next May event ☀️✨

One of our biggest missions at Oak Therapy is to support families and educators in shifting the mindset from “fixing the child” to “fixing the environment.”

We hear it all the time — parents worried because their children aren’t meeting school expectations.

But the truth is:
the school isn’t meeting the child’s needs.

When a child is supported in the way they learn, the conversation changes completely.

For years, too much emphasis has been placed on the measurable things:
• reciting the ABCs
• writing their name
• answering questions
• math facts

And not enough focus has gone toward what truly nourishes them:
• self-esteem
• connection + relationships
• independence
• exploration
• creativity and play

It’s always tempting to focus on what’s easy to measure.
But just like a flower, without good soil, sunlight, and nourishment… true growth doesn’t happen. 🌱

Let’s shift together.
Let’s unlearn and re-learn.
Let’s keep creating spaces where children who learn differently feel safe, seen, and supported.
