Dr. Perito's announcement comes on the heels of the recent publication of a position statement on standardization and safety of cosmetic pe**le enhancement procedures by the Sexual Medicine Society of America (SMSNA).

The statement, written by Dr. Perito and Dr. Alfredo Suarez-Sarmiento, Jr., describes the need for ge***al cosmetic procedures to be performed by qualified urologists and urologic surgeons using scientifically tested and approved methods.
