Healthy Body Talk Week

Join us in celebrating a week dedicated to reshaping the way we talk about our bodies and appearances. This initiative encourages us to redirect unhealthy language, reframe negative self-talk, and educate our community about body neutrality and the danger of stigmatizing words.

We are whole and complete just the way we are.

Event Schedule:
11/12, 1:30–3:30 pm – Centennial Village Patio
11/12, 6:30–8:00 pm – Herbert Wellness Center
11/13, 6:30–8:00 pm – Mahoney/Pearson Commons

🩵 WE NEED T-SHIRTS! 🩵
The Clothesline Project is tomorrow!

🕙 When: 10 AM – 3 PM
📍 Where: University Foote Green

Join us in raising awareness for all forms of violence and inspiring healing and change.

We’re collecting old T-shirts to be decorated and displayed as part of a symbolic clothesline project — each shirt representing a voice, a story, and a stand against violence.

👕 How to help:

Donate your old T-shirts — designs or plain, all are welcome!

Drop them off at the Counseling Center or bring them to the event.

Every shirt will help raise awareness and honor those affected by violence.

💛 Color Meanings:
⚪ White – people who have died due to violence
💛 Yellow/Beige – battered or assaulted victims
❤️🧡 Pink/Red/Orange – survivors of r**e and sexual assault
💙💚 Blue/Green – survivors of in**st or child sexual violence
💜 Lavender/Purple – people attacked for gender identity or sexual orientation
🖤 Black – people permanently handicapped or abused due to disability

Your donation can help inspire healing, visibility, and change. 💫
