Have you ever had a “cyst” that suddenly became painful, red, and bigger overnight?

That’s usually when it’s no longer just a cyst.....it’s inflamed or has turned into an abscess.

When this happens, antibiotics alone often aren’t enough.
The pressure builds under the skin, and the safest way to relieve it is a small in-office incision and drainage.

A few things patients are surprised to learn:
• The goal is the smallest incision possible
• We numb the area well, you’ll feel pressure, not sharp pain
• It heals from the inside out (what we call secondary intention)
• And yes… relief is usually immediate once that pressure is gone

Please don’t try to “pop” something like this at home.
That’s how infections spread and scars form.

If you’re dealing with a painful cyst, I see patients in Miami and via teledermatology across the U.S.

We can guide you on the safest next step.

Have you ever had one of these? ⬇️

Dermatology never stops evolving and neither does my commitment to bringing the most advanced care to my patients.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be attending the American Academy of Dermatology Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado, March 27–31, 2026.

This is one of the premier dermatology conferences in the world, where physicians, researchers, and educators gather to learn the latest evidence-based practices, explore emerging technologies, and exchange insights across the field.

I can’t wait to bring these learnings back to enhance how I care for you, from medical dermatology to advanced procedural techniques.

TBT to an inspiring moment speaking with fellow skincare professionals at an event hosted by Medik8 ✨

It was an honor to be invited to share insights on dermatology and evidence-based skincare while discussing innovations like Crystal Retinal, one of the brand’s most advanced vitamin A technologies.

Retinaldehyde, the key ingredient behind Crystal Retinal works significantly faster than traditional retinol to support skin renewal, smoother texture, and brighter skin, which is why it continues to be a topic of conversation in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.

Events like this are always a reminder of how important collaboration between dermatologists, researchers, and skincare innovators is for advancing patient care.

Grateful for the opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute to the conversation about science-driven skincare and skin health.

Grateful to be part of a space that not only celebrates beauty, but also makes an impact beyond it.

Androgenic alopecia (pattern hair thinning) doesn’t have a “quick fix,” but it does have science-backed options that can slow hair loss, encourage thicker growth, and protect what’s left.

After a tailored plan and 5 months of care, we see beautiful improvement and that’s worth celebrating. 💛

I tailored the right treatment for you:
✔️ Topical therapies like minoxidil to stimulate hair follicles and prolong growth phases
✔️ In-office procedures such as PRP (platelet-rich plasma) when appropriate
✔️ Scalp health optimization and personalized recommendations

And most importantly, I monitored progress every step of the way.

Great dermatologic care starts long before the exam room.

I completed a post-doctoral clinical research fellowship in Dermatologic & Laser Surgery at the University of Miami, where I worked on clinical investigations and laser trials focused on skin health, healing, and safety.

This research background guides how I treat patients today, using evidence-based medicine, personalized care plans, and inclusive dermatology for all skin types.

Science, compassion, and access belong together.
