Last, but definitely not least, Jonathan Valdez (DJIV305) has been our resident DJ since 2022 and is considered part of the FOTA family! He is our vibe curator and you can find him at all FOTA events--the April run/walk, Heart & Soul, and now on 12/6 at the Celebration of Life Holiday Luncheon. Jonathan, YOU ROCK!

We are still reeling from the AWESOME performances at Heart & Soul Revival last weekend! So, we are going to highlight our performers and share the love!

Next up, Disco Queen Rozz Parker Music was pure magic on the stage and down on the dance floor singing and dancing alongside of the crowd. She belted out anthems like "I Will Survive" and "We Are Family". We saved "the last dance" for Rozz, and it was worth it--way to go, Rozz!

Rozz is a member of the Leading Ladies, Inc who advocate for here in and raise funds to support the community. Representative, Brenda Merrill, was on hand to present FOTA with a $1,000 donation to support our efforts. What a celebration!

Next up, David Morin had the group singing and dancing, playing some of Elvis Presley's greatest hits, and later a medley of fan favorites like "Sweet Caroline" and "Uptown Funk". You are "Man of Many Voices", David, and we loved every one of them!

FLORIDA ORGAN TRANSPLANT ASSOCIATION

· We offer emergency grant support to transplant patients/families in need through social workers at all five (5) South Florida transplant hospitals: Broward Health, Cleveland Clinic, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Memorial Hospital, and Miami Transplant Institute.

· We create fun, community-minded events to bring together the transplant community throughout the year, such as: Build-a-Bear pediatric event, FOTA Transplant Adventure Run/Walk 5K, Marina Day, Adam Straub Memorial Golf Tournament, and Annual Holiday Celebration of Life.

· We offer resources and links both online at our website, www.floridaorgantransplant.org and through our quarterly newsletter, the FOTA Transplant Life Quarterly (mailed to members and supporters, and distributed at all South Florida transplant hospitals.)

· We participate in community events to spread the word on the importance of organ/tissue donation.
