Throwback pic from CA-1 year when we still had resident lectures together and didn’t have to wear mask at the hospital all the time. 🏥
Today July 1st is when a new group of residents start at many teaching hospitals across the country. My first day as a resident was a very overwhelming experience and it had me second guessing if I could handle having patients lives in my hands on a daily basis. 🏥
Thanks to the help of some great co-residents and nurses I made it through the first month, which was by far the hardest. God bless every one starting residency this month given the ongoing pandemic their job has become even more stressful. 🏥
