🦷 Internal Resorption → Implant Restoration

Internal resorption is a condition where the inside of the tooth starts breaking down, often without clear cause and no symptoms early on. 👀

Depending on the extent of the damage inside the tooth and the location, the treatment can range from a root canal to an extraction. Unfortunately, for this patient, the lesion progressed too quickly and was too advanced to save the tooth. We performed an extraction and placed a dental implant to fully restore the function and esthetics of their smile. 😁✨

About Dr. Garcia

Dr. Garcia has been related to the dental field for a long time. She started pursuing her dream of becoming a dentist in Cuba, her country of origin. She finally obtained her Dental Degree in Dominican Republic, where she established after migrating from Cuba. Dr. Garcia underwent two years of additional education at the University of Florida, College of Dentistry, with the purpose of obtaining the license to practice dentistry in the United States. Currently she practices General Dentistry in the City of Margate, along with her professional and friendly dental team. Dr. Malinally Garcia lives in the neighbor city of Boca Raton with her husband her two adorable kids. She loves living in South Florida and enjoys our wonderful weather. She likes going to the beach in summer, walking in the afternoon with her family while taking pleasure in watching a sunset, preparing a BBQ and a pool party, watching a movie. Dr. Malinally Garcia is a tender and compassionate dental professional. Her goal is to achieve treatment excellence and patient satisfaction. In our office we build up a trusting relationship, where our patients are confident that the treatment provided is only the best possible, in a friendly and courteous atmosphere.
