As we enter a season defined by gratitude and giving, we also recognize that many families are experiencing food insecurity. To help support those in need, our community is collecting non-perishable food items now through December 31. And thanks to Grace Management, Inc., every donation will be matched pound for pound (up to 100 pounds) to extend the impact even further.

Thank you to our residents, families, associates, and partners for joining us in this important effort. Together, we can help fill plates and hearts this holiday season. 💜

🎅 The wreaths have arrived, and the bidding has officially begun! Guests are invited to place a bid on any of these beautiful, handcrafted wreaths during their next visit or while attending an event. All proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association in Iowa City.

🥣 🌶️ Today was our annual chili cookoff! The Village Views residents made Beef Chili, the Village Gardens residents made White Chicken Chili and our Life Enrichment Director made a combination Lamb & Beef Chili.
🌟The Village Gardens took home the win with their tasty white chicken chili!

Today we welcomed Dr. Dillon Hammes from Total Health Chiropractic & Wellness!

Dr. Hammes shared an inspiring presentation on the DREAM framework—Diet, Rest, Exercise, Alignment, and Mindset—and how each pillar can be woven into daily life, especially as we head into the busy holiday season. He gave simple, practical steps to stay healthy and consistent.

Not only is Dr. Hammes incredibly knowledgeable, but his motivation and authenticity truly stood out. Attendees could feel his positive energy and how genuinely he cares about helping people improve their health.

He also shared that Total Health offers more than chiropractic care. His team provides wellness support, red light therapy, softwave therapy, and other whole-body health services to help people feel and function their best.

Our residents and guests really enjoyed having him, and we’re grateful for the valuable insight he brought to our community!
