Kaylyn Olson LMT, Reiki Master graduated from East-West School of Integrative Healing Arts in February 2013 focusing on deep tissue, trigger point, and energywork through the 1,000 hour training program. She is also a Reiki Master, Pranic Healer, and has received training in Healing Touch up to level 2. After graduating from East-West she started the business and concept of Sacred Forest Healing in April 2013. She has several years of experience with deep tissue, trigger point, and energywork. Cupping is one of my favorite modalities. I find it very effective and it pairs perfectly with trigger point therapy.
I’ll pinpoint areas I believe cupping would be most helpful, place the cups, then work on another area while they sit. Cupping can leave marks but not always. These marks typically stay for about a week or less but occasionally they can stay for up to two weeks.

The model in this photo was having a severe migraine the day before their session that seemed to stem from a tighter than usual shoulder. They felt MUCH better after their session.
