The Healing Order

The Healing Order Chinese medicine and naturopathic medicine clinic located in the Historic Columbia Gorge Scenic Area, outside Portland, Oregon.

As part of our expanding mission, The Healing Order inaugurates a new era in our practice, allowing us to focus more intensely on our patients and offer a greater array of holistic therapies in the future. This is a chance for us to model a different kind of healthcare for other providers, and for a world that seems to keep wanting to only treat illness, rather than support health. We will continue to schedule consultations, dietary evaluations, acupuncture, and moxibustion and, of course, provide custom Chinese herbs and supplements at our Gordon Creek location until we can move into our new home next year.

We are living in a moment that asks for deeper symbolic thinking. 🌛

Western zodiac astrology and Classical Chinese Medicine’s holomap share a symbolic way of thinking for reading time, pattern, and the body as part of a larger whole.

These time-tested systems teach us how to be in relationship with repeating cycles, and understand the human body as a microcosmic expression of what’s above.

The Sky’s Body: Constellations and Medicine is a year-long, small-group study for learning how to translate celestial pattern into orientation, timing, and support for individual and collective health.

What if our health-personal and collective-is written not only in the body, but in the sky?🌠

The Sky's Body: Constellations and Medicine is a year-long study exploring two mesmerizing symbol systems - Western zodiac astrology and Classical Chinese Medicine (CCM)'s holomap.

Meeting once a month beginning February 6th, we'll study the relationship between the starry sky and earthly nature: how signs& rhythms reveal themselves, what nature is showing us, and how these patterns inform both personal health, and the health of the collective. You will be introduced to CCM's holomap, created by Dr. Heiner Fruehauf.

The course is guided by Carol Ferris, a renowned astrologer whose decades of work weave together multiple symbolic systems.

This will be a small, attentive circle of just 30 participants, so Carol can work with each person's individual horoscope. Spaces are filling quickly.
