✨Program Spotlight✨
Cumberland River Behavioral Health and the Whitley County Juvenile Court work together in using the Reclaiming Futures treatment model to service ages 12-18 in Whitley, Knox, and Clay Counties. Reclaiming Futures aims to initiate change and improve the quality of alcohol and drug treatment services available to our youth.

Two tracks of treatment are available in the Whitley county area, Track 1 and Track 2.
Track 1 is for youth who have been charged and received a court order to complete juvenile drug court. Track 2 is for all other referrals, including parent, school, community member, and/or court designated worker/specialist.

Participants in both tracks receive an assessment, individualized treatment planning, individual, group or family counseling, peer support services, service coordination, drug screening, referrals for higher level of care if appropriate, and after care services. Track 1 receives additional accountability and consequences from court.

Reclaiming Futures relies heavily on community support, as it is an essential part of the solution to juvenile substance abuse. Communities can mentor, educate, employ, and help youth feel safe.
Reclaiming Futures’ desires to have each youth be assisted in staying free of substance abuse, successfully meet an educational goal, and be a productive member of the community.

Our program is housed in the COPE House in Whitley County. Numerous services and afterschool programming is offered at this site.
