Grace Health had a great day at the State Capitol in Frankfort for Kentucky Lobby Day! ❤️

Our Director of Quality, Tammy Sizemore; Mike Wynn, Director of Community Programs; Casey Whittaker, Director of Pharmacy; and our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Evans, were proud to meet with lawmakers to talk about issues that truly impact the health of our communities across Kentucky.

From supporting the Heart Disease Prevention Program and advocating for CPR training in schools, to working on bills related to prior authorization reform, physician wellness, and recruiting more physicians to Kentucky, these initiatives help strengthen care for both our patients and our providers. ❤️

We’re thankful for leaders like Senator Robert Stivers and Derek Lewis KY State Representative who took the time to meet with us and listen. A special thank you as well to the American Heart Association - Kentucky for leading the charge and bringing everyone together to advocate for healthier communities.

Working together, we can make a real difference across Kentucky. 🫶

Last week, Grace Health leaders were in Washington, D.C., attending the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Policy & Issues Forum. CEO Mike Stanley, Mike Wynn, Director of Community Programs, and Jeff Hamlin, Treasurer, Board of Directors joined health center advocates from across the nation to champion stronger healthcare policies, protect vital Community Health Center (CHC) funding, and expand access to care for families across Kentucky.

We are grateful to the elected officials and staff who support the important work of community health centers. Your partnership helps ensure we can continue providing quality, affordable care to those who need it most.
