I took my boys to a trampoline park yesterday and let me tell you, I went ALL in!

Running, jumping, flipping… & I’m sore in places I didn’t even know existed. Yes, even my toes šŸ˜‚

But here’s what stuck with me… this is my WHY.

Not shrinking my body.
Not chasing a number on the scale.

But being the mom who can run, play, jump, and fully show up.

And I know there are real reasons a lot of moms don’t:
• Feeling out of shape
• Insecurity in your body
• Pelvic floor concerns (trust me… I was this close a few times yesterday šŸ˜…)

But those are not reasons you can’t. They are reasons to START.

Because your kids don’t care what you look like.
They care that you are there. In it. With them.

I never want my boys to feel like I can’t show up for them in that way.

One Pan Hot Chicken Teriyaki Bowl šŸ”„šŸš

Ingredients:
• Jasmine rice
• Chicken breast
• Red bell pepper
• Carrot
• White onion
• Broccoli
• Hot teriyaki sauce
• Oil (for cooking)

Directions:
1. Cook jasmine rice according to package instructions.
2. Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little oil.
3. Add chopped vegetables (bell pepper, onion, carrot & broccoli) and cook until tender.
4. Add diced chicken breast to the pan and cook until fully done.
5. Pour in your hot teriyaki sauce and let everything cook together for a few more minutes.
6. Serve the chicken and veggies over rice.

Feeling off but can’t figure out why? šŸ‘€

It might not just be ā€œbeing busyā€ or ā€œmom life.ā€

Things like:
• Constant fatigue
• Brain fog
• Low energy
• Poor recovery from workouts
• Frequent cravings
• Weak immune system

šŸ‘‰ CAN be signs your body is missing key nutrients.

And no… it’s not about being ā€œperfectā€ with your diet.

But if you’re:
• Skipping meals

The first pic popped up on my memories today 🄹

I was so proud of myself back then—down 10 lbs & several inches, slowly gaining my confidence back! One year later, I’m another 10 lbs down. I’m not exactly where I expected to be at this point, but I am making progress toward my end goal.

Three cups of coffee… and still tired? ā˜•šŸ’€ Yep. Guilty as charged over here too.

Here’s the truth: the last thing your body actually needs when you’re feeling sluggish is more caffeine.

What your body really needs is:
• Real fuel šŸ³šŸ„‘
• Plenty of water šŸ’§
• Rest (even if it’s just a little extra when you can) 😓

I know… I KNOW this isn’t easy. Especially for moms juggling little humans who don’t exactly respect nap schedules. But swapping ā€œjust one more coffeeā€ for a nutrient-rich meal and a glass of water will actually do more for your energy than that 3rd (or 4th) cup ever could.

Caffeine is a band-aid. Food, water, and rest are the real energy boosters. šŸ’›

I was looking at my Oura ring… and last March my average steps were over 15,000 a day.

And I just sat there thinking… how?

Because I wasn’t working out.
I wasn’t going on walks.
I wasn’t doing anything intentional.

And then it hit me.

Those steps came from hours of pacing the house… rocking, bouncing, and walking back and forth with my 4-month-old who was struggling with CMPA… while Tyler had just gone back to work.

That season was the hardest phase of my life.

At the time, I didn’t even fully realize how much I was carrying.
I was just trying to make it through each day.
Looking back now, I can see it so clearly. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and battling postpartum depression.

But I kept going.

And now, I’m on the other side of that season.
And it feels like I can finally breathe again.

It’s crazy to think that what looked like ā€œ15k steps a dayā€ on paper…
was really just a mom doing everything she could to comfort her baby and make it through the day.

I praise Jesus every single day for bringing me out of that season!
For restoring my health, my joy, and my mind.
For my healthy babies.
For the people who carried me when I didn’t have much left to give.

If you’re in a hard season right now…
keep going. There is light ahead.

And one day, you’ll look back and realize
just how strong you really were šŸ¤
