During National Cancer Prevention Month, we’re sharing one local woman’s journey of strength, choice, and hope.

After a shocking tonsil cancer diagnosis that later revealed spots in her lungs, she asked her doctor a simple but powerful question:“Why can’t I be transferred to Cordele?”

❄️☕ It was a “Winter-ful” time to give the gift of life! ☕❄️

Crisp Regional Hospital employees warmed up with a cozy Hot Chocolate Bar and sweet treats during our Winter-ful organ and tissue donation awareness event hosted by the Organ Donation Committee.

Beyond the cocoa and conversation, the true purpose of the event was to raise awareness about the life-changing impact of organ and tissue donation. Every discussion, question, and sign-up helps save lives and brings hope to families in need.
