We had the joy of celebrating 77 of our amazing employees and volunteers who were both Born Here and now Serve Here — a true testament to our community spirit and legacy of care. 💙

Each member of this exclusive group received a “Born Here. Serve Here.” t-shirt — a badge of honor for those who took their very first breath right here at Crisp Regional Hospital.

🎀 Melody Godfrey Insurance Hosts 6th Annual “Light Up the Night Pink” Event 🎀

Crisp Regional Hospital extends heartfelt thanks to Melody Godfrey Insurance for once again leading the charge in raising awareness and support for breast cancer. Their 6th annual “Light Up the Night Pink” event brought the community together in a powerful display of hope, generosity, and compassion.

This year’s event featured Christina Bray, Director of Crisp Regional’s Oncology Center, who shared inspiring insights about new technology that helps patients reduce hair loss during chemotherapy treatments.

Throughout October, Melody Godfrey Insurance also encouraged community giving through a pink donation box at their office—raising funds toward the purchase of a Cooler Heads scalp cooling system for our Oncology Center.

💗 Presenting the “Little Pink Box of Love” and a $2,500 donation to Crisp Regional Hospital is Melody Godfrey.

We are deeply grateful to Melody and her team, to Christina Bray for sharing her expertise, and to everyone who helped make this event a success. Together, we continue to shine a light on the importance of early detection, patient comfort, and community support.

Our annual Crisp Regional Hospital Pumpkin Decorating Competition brought out the creativity, humor, and talent of our amazing staff once again! From spooky to sweet, our departments went all out to make this year’s contest one to remember.

👏 A big thank you to every team that participated — your creativity truly reflects the spirit and teamwork that make Crisp Regional such a special place to work.

We hope your night is full of fun (and just the right amount of fright)! As you head out for trick-or-treating or fall festivities, keep these quick safety tips in mind:

1️⃣ Be visible: Add reflective tape or carry a flashlight so drivers can see you.
2️⃣ Watch your step: Stay on sidewalks and look both ways before crossing streets.
3️⃣ Check your treats: Make sure candy is sealed and safe before snacking.

And if a bump, bruise, or scare happens, our Emergency Department is open 24/7 and here when you need us.

💙 Community Partners Making a Difference! 💙

Crisp Regional Hospital extends our heartfelt thanks to the Crisp County Power Commission for their generous donation to our Oncology Center, made possible through the proceeds of their annual charity golf tournament.

Community partners like the Power Commission play a vital role in helping us maintain a strong and viable hospital right here at home. Their continued support directly impacts the lives of the more than 300 patients we serve each month through our Oncology Center — patients who would otherwise have to travel out of town for essential cancer treatments.

We are truly blessed to live in a community that comes together to care for one another. 💛
