We attended the PNA Professionals Conference, themed An Ageless Adventure! It was a great day connecting with colleagues, meeting the many people we serve in our community, and sharing the new services we have at the Home. Thank you to Professional Network on Aging for hosting a wonderful event!

Another successful CNA class has come and gone! We celebrated the program completion for our January students and we couldn’t be prouder. The students have worked so hard and create such strong relationships with our residents. We wish them luck in this new journey they are stepping into!

There is new art in Gomez Auditorium! Bornblum Jewish Community School students are showing their amazing art for our residents and visitors. Each piece has a personal story about their connection to the art piece. If you want to see the creative work that the students have done, stop by the Home!

We hope everyone is warm and safe in Memphis during the snow storm! We have over 60 staff members staying overnight at the Home to care for our residents during the snow. We are so thankful for our MJHR team for being here during this time! We hope to see you at the Home soon, until then cozy up and stay safe. ❄️⛄️

It is Activity Professionals Week and we have been celebrating our activities team and their hard work! We’ve had a full week of fun themes around the Home! We are so grateful for everything the activities team does for our residents and we can never miss the chance to celebrate them!

Happy Martin Luther King Day! We are so thankful to City of Memphis Office of Youth Services and Nike for giving their time and coming alongside us to honor his memory by participating in MLK Service Day. The volunteers enjoyed a fun afternoon playing bingo with our residents and learning more about our community.

We enjoyed an art filled evening at the MJHR Resident Art Gallery Opening! All pieces shown in the gallery were created by our residents, rehab patients, and adult day participants. We are so thankful to donors who support our endeavors to make the arts more accessible to the residents at the Home!

Our 2025 Hanukkah was a great time filled with laughter and fun! From gifts to live music, there was something special everyday. Thank you to the Baer Jewish Fund for supporting our Jewish activities at the Home.
