Today’s message by Pastor Ben Mandrell reminded me that calling is not about having it all figured out — it’s about trusting the God who does.

❗️What feels random is never random with God. Saul thought he was on an ordinary mission, but God was positioning him for something greater (1 Samuel 9). “We may plan, but the Lord directs our steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)
❗️There will always be a gap between our skills and God’s assignment — and that gap is called faith. That’s where God fills us with His power.
God doesn’t just call us, He equips us. And when He leads, He also provides. ✨

Whewww 😢😢😭😭😭
Marriage has a way of refining you.
It exposes your edges, your triggers, your weaknesses—and then lovingly invites you to grow.
❤️
Working through conflict and navigating different personalities isn’t easy. There are moments when it feels uncomfortable, stretching, even painful. But I’m learning that this refining isn’t meant to break us—it’s meant to shape us.
Every hard conversation…
Every misunderstanding…
Every moment we choose grace over pride…
It pushes me to draw nearer to Jesus and depend on Him more than ever.
Marriage is holy ground.
It’s where God does some of His deepest work in us—teaching us patience, humility, forgiveness, and love that looks more like Christ.
Refining may be hard…
but the fruit is worth it. 💍✨

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure- Jesus-” – Hebrews 6:19 ⚓️ whewwww I love this word ❤️❤️❤️

⚓️Hope in Jesus is not wishful thinking—it’s an anchor.
⚓️An anchor that holds us steady when life feels uncertain, storms rage, and the waves hit hard.
⚓️When everything around us feels unstable, this hope keeps our souls secure.
❓️So let me gently ask: Where is your hope anchored?
❓️Is it in circumstances, people, or outcomes that can change…
or is it anchored in Jesus, who never changes?
❓️❗️And here’s the most important question of all:
If you were to die today, how confident are you that heaven would be your destination?
If you’re unsure, you don’t have to carry that weight alone.
📩 Reach out to me or another believer—let’s pray together.
There is hope, assurance, and peace available in Christ, today

Here are a few takeaways ....
❗️It is finished.” And because of that, Jesus is my rest.

❗️Biblical rest is not just a day off — it is found in a Person. Jesus is our Sabbath. We don’t strive to earn God’s approval; we rest in Christ because He has already finished the work.
❗️Self-improvement says, hard work pays off.
❗️Grace says, Jesus paid it all.
⏭️So I choose to stop striving and start trusting.
⏭️Not earning — but receiving.
⏭️Not hiding in shame — but returning to grace.
♥️True rest is found in Jesus. 🤍

We truly love serving in God’s Kingdom. There is such joy, purpose, and fulfillment in saying yes to what He’s doing.

Pastor Ben said it so powerfully: “Unbelief is sickness in the heart, and encouragement is the medicine.” Whew! 🩺💛

We choose to be encouraged believers—feeding our faith, strengthening one another, and serving with grateful hearts. Lord, thank You for the privilege of partnering with You in Your work. 🙌💫

I am so enjoying journeying through the book of Hebrews. 🤍

📢This quote from a book I’m reading stopped me in my tracks:❗️
“The gospel is the solution to our biggest problems in life, from death to the devil. Yet because of the nature of the gospel, it is also the solution to our day-to-day trials and temptations.”

🤔It makes me think about how often we try to face sin, struggles, trials, and temptations without grounding ourselves in God’s Word. ⁉️But how do we deal with the stain of sin—or the weight of everyday life—without the gospel? Hebrews reminds us that Jesus is better, sufficient, and enough for it all.
