Memphis has a rich and powerful place in Black history, and our residents proudly celebrated Black History Month in meaningful ways! From visiting the legendary Stax Museum of American Soul Music, to taking a scenic drive through the beautiful campus of LeMoyne-Owen College — one of our city’s historic HBCUs — the experience was both educational and inspiring.
We also spent time learning about influential African American inventors , the legacy of Greek letter organizations, and the many trailblazers who continue to shape history.

Here at StoryPoint Cordova, we’re proud to live out the dream of Martin Luther King Jr. every day by honoring the past, celebrating progress, and building community together.

We encourage everyone to get out and explore the rich Black history in your own city. There’s so much to discover and appreciate!

The residents had a wonderful time celebrating Mardi Gras this week with a festive parade, a delicious New Orleans cuisine luncheon, and lively Big Easy music. Everyone was smiling and full of joy! We truly partied like we were right in the center of Bourbon Street!

Our residents celebrated Valentine’s week in the sweetest ways— shopping for special treasures, dancing to their favorite music, and enjoying a delicious steak dinner topped off with decadent desserts. From laughter to love-filled moments, it was truly a week to remember.
