We’re proud to welcome two new Cardiology Fellows to Magnolia Regional Health Center! ❤️

These physicians have already completed medical school and a three-year Internal Medicine Residency program and are now continuing their advanced training through a three-year cardiology fellowship with us through 2029. As fully trained doctors, they bring a strong foundation of knowledge and experience as they further specialize in cardiovascular care.

During their time at Magnolia, they will work alongside our cardiology team to care for patients with a wide range of heart conditions—continuing to refine their skills while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.

We take great pride in the cardiac health of our community, and investing in advanced training programs like this is an important part of that commitment. By training the next generation of specialists right here in Corinth, we are strengthening the future of heart care for our region. 💚

Please join us in welcoming the new Emergency Medicine Class of 2029 to Magnolia Regional Health Center! 🚑

Each of these physicians has completed more than 10,000 hours of clinical training during medical school and has earned their medical degree. They will begin their residency with us this July as they continue their advanced training in Emergency Medicine—one of the most demanding and rewarding fields in healthcare.

As resident physicians, they will care for patients in our Emergency Department every day, working alongside and under the supervision of experienced attending physicians. They are fully trained doctors who are continuing to refine their skills while serving our community.

Over the next three years, these residents will not only provide high-quality care at the bedside, but will also contribute to the strength of our local healthcare system, economy, and community. 💚

Choosing to train in Corinth, Mississippi speaks volumes. These physicians had opportunities across the country, and they chose to come here—to serve, to learn, and to be part of a rural healthcare mission that truly matters.

For our patients, this means more hands at the bedside, more attention, and a team deeply committed to providing excellent care. For our community, it means continued investment in the future of healthcare right here at home.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Ashlee Harris, PTA 🌟

During the recent ice storm, many members of our team stepped up in incredible ways to help care for our community. This month we want to recognize Ashlee Harris, PTA with Magnolia Regional Health Center’s Home Health and Hospice team, for going above and beyond for our patients. Ashlee has been a dedicated member of the MRHC team since 2012.

While our office was closed and many businesses were not operating, Ashlee spent two days driving throughout Corinth, Iuka, and Burnsville picking up propane tanks and kerosene and delivering them to patients who needed heat during the storm.

She also made a special trip to check on a patient in Corinth that no one had been able to reach. Ashlee went to the patient’s home and knocked on the door to make sure he was safe. After speaking with a neighbor, she was able to confirm he was staying with family.

Ashlee’s compassion, dedication, and willingness to serve others truly reflect the heart of our team. We are proud to have her as part of Magnolia Regional Health Center and grateful for the care she shows our patients and community.
