CORINTH- John D. Darrah, 86, of Fuller Road, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Saratoga Hospital following a brief illness.
Born on July 11, 1939 in the town of Black Brook in Ausable Forks, he was the son of the late Asa Sr. and Marion (Seguin) Darrah.
John attend school in Ausable. He also served in the Civil Air Patrol.
He married Linda Farrenkopf on December 24, 1965 and the couple resided for many years in Corinth.
John was first employed at J & J Rogers Company paper mill in Ausable Forks and then was employed for many years at General Electric in Schenectady in the Foundry Department until his retirement.
He loved watching westerns on TV and visiting with friends and family, but mostly he enjoyed his time together with all of his family.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by four siblings and his father-in-law, Michael Farrenkopf.
Survivors besides his loving wife of 60 years, Linda Darrah of Corinth include four children, Kelly Darrah of Mechanicville, Michael Darrah (Tonya) of Ausable Forks, Jamie Darrah of Schuylerville, Amy Darrah of Lake George; nine grandchildren, Austin Kelly of Colonie, Kasandra Kelly of Mechanicville, Christine Darrah (Daelyn Bentley-Gottel) of Troy, Nathaniel Darrah of Ausable Forks, Hope Darrah of Schuylerville, Ashley Darrah of Brooklyn, Allen Darrah of Saratoga Springs, Jacob Blake (Cheyenne Gebo) of Lake Luzerne, and Makayla Darrah of Lake Luzerne; three great-grandchildren, Ryland, Harper and Odin; one sister; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At John’s request, arrangements are private and at the convenience of the family.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the ICU and the ER at Saratoga Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care and also the Town of Corinth EMS for their kindness and professionalism shown to the family. Also, a special thanks to our friends and family for their prayers and kind words of support.

CORINTH and DELANSON- Sage Pogorzelski, infant daughter of Taylor Baldwin and Daniel Pogorzelski, went into the arms of the Angels on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Besides her parents, she is also survived by one brother, Jaxon Baldwin of Corinth; her maternal grandparents, Beth and Doug Gill of Corinth and Dawn and John Dingman of Lake Luzerne; her paternal grandparents, Robert Pogorzelski of Delanson and Amy Pogorzelski of Delanson; maternal great-grandparents, Robert and Mary Lou Baldwin of Lake Luzerne and John and Kristine Dingman of Corinth, and Eileen VanDyke of Hudson Falls; paternal great-grandparents, Mary, Cerese, and Gary; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her special aunts, Danyelle, Payton and Kyra, and her special uncles, Kyle, Andrew (Brianna) and Michael (Monica).
Arrangements are at the convenience of the family.
A Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at a later date to be announced.

CORINTH- Catherine J. Spero, 82, of Hollister Road, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs surrounded by her loving family.
Born on Nov. 10, 1943 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Nicosia) Gyomory.
Cathy graduated from John Adams High School in Queens and attended Queens College.
She married Michael Spero on July 2, 1966 in Queens. The couple has resided for many years on Hollister Road in Corinth.
Cathy was employed at Borden’s Ice Cream in Brooklyn for several years.
She attended the Church of the Immaculate Conception/Holy Mother and Child Parish for many years.
Cathy enjoyed reading, history, camping, long walks, movies, traveling with her husband in their camper across country, and being with her family.
Survivors besides her loving husband of 60 years, Michael Spero, include two children, Michael J. Spero of Malta and Laura Spero-English (Paul) of Summit, NJ; four grandchildren, Kirsten, Nicholas, and Christian Spero, and Anthony English; one brother, Joseph Gyomory (Barbara) of Virginia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Feb 5th, 2026 at the Densmore Funeral Home, Inc., 7 Sherman Ave., Corinth.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Noon, Friday, Feb. 6th, at Holy Mother and Child Parish, 409 Palmer Avenue, Corinth with Father Ken Swain, officiating.

CORINTH- Sharon L. Guilder, 60, of Palmer Avenue, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness.
Born on Sept. 29, 1965 in Saratoga Springs, she was the daughter of the late David Reed and Cecelia (Ody) Hart.
Sharon attended Corinth High School.
She was employed in the Healthcare field, did some accounting work, and managed several properties, earning her the affectionate nickname of “Mamma Landlord.”
Sharon worked many years in retail, most recently working at Family Dollar in Corinth.
She is also known for her compassion and acceptance, and her house was always the place to go for a quick bite to eat and some “Momma advice.”
When not working, she could always be found outside, enjoying the sun with her dogs. She loved reading anything by Stephen King, but mostly lived to be there for her family. Family was everything to her.
Survivors include two children, John Tooker (Jessica) of Corinth and Kathryn Tooker (Nicholas Harwood) of Corinth; three grandchildren, Justice Tooker of Lake Luzerne, Dominick Tooker of Corinth, and Marleigh Harwood of Corinth; two siblings, Barbara Martin (Michelle) of Ohio, Joleen Royal of Virginia; her stepfather, Elmer Hart of Virginia, and her stepbrother, Elmer Hart Jr. of Virginia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins; and also her many friends that she cared for.
A Celebration of Sharon’s life will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.

HUDSON FALLS- Carol M. Currier, 71, of Deer Run Drive, Hudson Falls passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2026 at her home following a brief illness.
Born on June 18, 1954 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Betty (Mason) Wendell.
Carol graduated from Corinth High School in 1972, from the Junior College of Albany in 1974 with an Associate Degree in Nursing, and from Colorado Technical University with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
She married William “Bill” Currier on April 9, 1983 and the couple lived in Corinth for many years before moving to Blythewood, South Carolina. He passed away July 22, 2022 following 39 years of marriage.
Carol was employed as an RN at Saratoga Hospital for a few years and then worked as a nurse at Skidmore College in the Infirmary for over 20 years. She also worked in nursing when she and Bill moved to South Carolina.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Corinth for many years.
Carol enjoyed camping, traveling with Bill in their RV, and spending time with her family.
Besides her husband and her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Sylvia Eggleston, and a great-nephew, James Eggleston.
Survivors include two siblings, Louise Anderson (Greg) of Nesconset, NY and Ryne Wendell (Lynn Allen) of Queensbury; five nieces and nephews, Kimberly White (Adam Streeter) of Corinth, Brian Anderson of Norwalk, Conn., Kevin Eggleston of Corinth, Heather Santin (Javier) of Bayside, NY, Nikki Harrison (Nathan Belmore) of Fort Ann; eight great-nieces and nephews; and many cousins; and her best friend, Kristy Vincent of Queensbury.
A Celebration of Carol's life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2026 at the First United Methodist Church, 243 Main St., Corinth with Rev. Kim Reed, officiating.
A Committal Service will be held in the spring at Maplewood Cemetery, South Corinth.

LAKE LUZERNE- Mildred L. “Millie” Morey, 97, of Harris Ave., passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at her home with her loving daughter by her side.
Born on August 20, 1918 in Grant, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Roy and Beatrice (Woodard) Davis.
Millie graduated from Forest High School in Forest, Ohio in 1946.
She married George L. Morey on Nov. 1, 1946 in Corinth. The couple lived many years in Lake Luzerne.
Millie was first employed at the Lazy J Dude Ranch in Stony Creek and then worked as a seamstress for seven years at the Cluett-Peabody Shirt Factory in Corinth. She was a wonderful, loving mother and homemaker.
She attended the Corinth Wesleyan Church, and then Church of the Nations for several years.
Millie enjoyed crafting, sports, bowling, golf, traveling (especially cruising) and caring for her family and friends. She lived life to the fullest and considered herself very blessed.
Besides her husband and her parents, she has joined her two sisters, Clarissa Baker and Josephine Frisch, and her daughter Rosalee Ann in their heavenly home.
Survivors include three children, George Morey of Lake Luzerne, Clarissa Carlton of Corinth and Debra Rizzi of Lake Luzerne; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Graveside Service will be held at Corinth Rural Cemetery in the Spring.

CORINTH- Yvonne B. Melville, 99, of Oak Street, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Born on February 19, 1926 in Pyrites, NY, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Vera (Goulette) Brosseau.
Yvonne first became a parishioner, in 1931, of the Church of the Immaculate Conception/Holy Mother and Child Parish of Corinth. She began attending Corinth Central School the following year.
She married Pvt. Russell Melville on Sept. 6, 1942 and the couple resided in Corinth for many years after his service in WW2. He passed away January 14, 2017 following 74 years of marriage.
Yvonne was employed as a registered nurse at Glens Falls Hospital for 20 years and then worked as a nurse at Mount McGregor in Wilton for several years. She later earned a real estate license and sold real estate under Dick Sehlmeyer.
Yvonne was a member of the Corinth Theater Guild and the Sweet Adelines vocal group. She performed in local minstrel shows for many years. She was a talented multi-instrumentalist who passed this trait down to many of her children.
She enjoyed playing cards with friends and family and with numerous others online, her favorite game being Pinochle. She attended bingo tournaments. She was creative – she constantly sewed, knitted and crocheted. She was a voracious reader and slayer of crossword puzzles. She was resourceful and handy in countless ways.
She and her husband Russ shared a lifelong love for gardening. Yvonne took great pride in her numerous flower beds. Her stellar cooking made great use of the abundance of herbs and produce that came from the backyard garden.
Yvonne was sharp, independent and had wanderlust right up until the end of her life. She traveled all over the country visiting children and grandchildren. She loved to be behind the wheel of her car. She drove independently until her final illness.
In more recent years, Yvonne attended Faith Chapel of Corinth.
Besides her husband and her parents, she was also predeceased by one brother, Jean “Bucky” Brosseau; one daughter, Louise Fasulo; and one great-grandson, Brandon Wright.
Survivors include one brother, Don Brosseau of Keene, NH; nine children, Thomas Melville (Syd) of Oregon City, OR, Michelle Stagner (Larry) of St. Joseph, MO, Celeste Melville (Reed) of La Veta, CO, Suzanne Melville of Corinth, Yvette Stone (Dan) of Corinth, George Melville of Silver City, NM, Russell Melville (Leslie) of Corinth, Mark Melville (Sophia) of Raleigh, NC, and Chris Melville (Holly) of Wingdale, NY; 20 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026 at the Holy Mother and Child Parish, 409 Palmer Ave., Corinth with Father Simon Udemgba. Flowers may be sent there.

CORINTH - Jane Clothier, 94, of Ash Street, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Saratoga Hospital with her loving family by her side.
Born on July 20, 1931 in Charlton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Fairman) Plummer.
Jane graduated from Corinth High School in 1949 as Valedictorian.
She married William Clothier on May 26, 1950 in Lake Luzerne and the couple resided in Corinth for many years. He passed away June 18, 2016 following 66 years of marriage.
Jane was first employed at Higgins Chevrolet as bookkeeper for several years and then worked at the South Corinth School District and lastly worked as the bookkeeper at the Grand Union for over 10 years until her retirement.
She was a longtime member of Corinth Baptist Church.
Jane enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing, crocheting, painting, and swimming. She will be remembered for her intelligence, her humor, her strength and independence, her love for her family, how artistic and crafty she was, her gardening and flower garden, birdwatching, and how much she loved her pets.
She was proud of the fact that even at the age of 94 she was very tech savy.
Besides her husband and her parents, she was also predeceased by two brothers and their wives, Frank and Carol Plummer and Harry and Gail Plummer.
Survivors include five children, Claudia Brownell (Vernon) of Middle Grove, Lynn Summers of Corinth, Billie Jane Ross (Chris) of Corinth, Wayne Clothier (Kimber) of Hudson Falls, and Heidi Tilford (Randy) of South Glens Falls; 10 grandchildren, Timothy, Derek, Joanna, Jennifer, Jane, Jessica, Amanda, Jarred, Taylor and David; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Edmund Plummer (Sandy) of Ballston Spa; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Jane’s request, there are no services being held.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM - James “Jimmer” E. Walker Jr., 64, died peacefully at a hospital in Albuquerque, NM on January 8, 2026 with his wife and daughter by his side.
Born on July 17, 1961 in Galesburg, IL, he was the son of James E. Walker Sr. and Darlene A. (Winslow) Walker.
Jimmer moved with his family to his mom's hometown of Corinth, NY before he was 1 and was a 1979 graduate of Corinth HS.
He joined the Air Force in 1980 and made a career of it before retiring in 2002. Jim loved his service job as a Load master on C-130's. He was stationed in Japan, Florida, Little Rock, Arkansas, and the Philippines, where he met his wife, Lorie. They were married for 34 years and had one daughter, Jessica, who also lives in Albuquerque.
Jimmer was a great storyteller and loved sharing his adventures with his friends and family. He also enjoyed cheering on his favorite football team, the G-Men, aka the NY Giants. In his high schol years, Jimmer was part of the EMBA boxing club and played on the football team. He loved fishing of all kinds especially at his favorite spots, Eagles' Nest, NM and Paradox Lake, NY.
Other pastimes that were important to Jimmer were gardening, reading, being with his dogs, texting daily with his sisters, and spending time with Lorie and Jessica. Jim was a likeable guy with an easy laugh and was loved and respected by everyone who met him.
Survivors left to cherish his memory are his wife Lorie, his daughter Jessica, his son-in-law Albert, and his sisters Dianne, Jeanne, Lori, Sunny and Joanne. He will also be fondly remembered by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jimmer's life will be held this June with a date not known yet but will be posted at a later date.

GREENFIELD CENTER - Peter Joseph Fedorick, 76, of Greenfield Center, New York, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025.
Born on February 8, 1949, in Nyack, New York, Peter learned the value of hard work early in life, installing wood floors alongside his father and working in construction with his uncle.
He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before earning his college degree and beginning a long career in public service as an auditor with the New York State Comptroller’s Office.
After retiring in 2003, Peter devoted himself to his lifelong love of hiking, spending countless hours enjoying the outdoors and exploring what he fondly referred to as “the road not taken.” He often lived by the belief that “life is not measured by the breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.”
Peter was known for his outgoing personality, independence, and adventurous spirit. He especially treasured his time with the Crooked Canes, a local hiking group that meant a great deal to him. He delighted in sharing stories from their many excursions and spoke often of the strong friendships he formed through the group.
He will be remembered for his love of nature, his enthusiasm for adventure, and the deep pride he took in his family and friends. He also had a deep love for animals, particularly his cats, whom he affectionately referred to as his “children,” and who brought him great joy and companionship.
Peter was predeceased by his mother, Helen; his father, Peter; his brother, Joseph; and his daughter, Laurie. He is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Linda; his sons, Peter Jr., Christopher (Christina), and Gregory; and his cherished grandchildren, Nathan and Courtney.

NORTHVILLE- Martin D. Baylies Sr., 56, of Northville, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026 at his home.
Born on March 9, 1969 in Saratoga Springs, he was the son of Donald Baylies of Syracuse and the late Teresa (Marshall) Baylies.
Marty graduated from Stillwater Central School in 1987.
He was employed for several years at the Target Distribution Center in Wilton.
Marty enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt racing, snowmobiling, going to country music concerts at S**C, seeing the Skeeter Creek Band, and spending time with his family, especially family events.
Besides his mom he was also predeceased by his son, Martin D. Baylies Jr.
Survivors include two siblings, Garry Baylies (Evelyn) of Ohio and Lori Finneran (Sean) of Clifton Park; five nieces and nephews, Joshua Baylies of Stillwater, Jessica Portillo (Manuel) of South Carolina, Jacob Baylies (Sam) of North Carolina, Phoenix and Seamus Finneran of Clifton Park; one son, Justin Baylies of Virginia; and two granddaughters, Ariannah of Northville and Oaklynn of Virginia; his special uncle and aunts, Paul Marshall of Wilton, Barbara Marshall of Wilton, and Monica Sanger (Tim) of Remsen; and several other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and also the VanNostrand family and the Carleton-Sabo families.

DAY- Leland R. “Skip” Flansburg, 80, of Glasshouse Creek Road, passed away Friday, January 2, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born on August 21, 1945 in Day, he was the son of the late Henry and Elizabeth (Shippee) Flansburg.
Skip attended Edinburg-Northville School.
He met the love of his life, Helen (White) Dickinson, in 1989 and the couple has resided in Day for many years.
Skip was employed for the Town of Day Highway Department for 37 years until his retirement in 2010.
He was a member of Rolling Ridge Hunting Club for many years.
Skip enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bluegrass festivals, and taking care of his birds and farm animals.
Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by two siblings, Betty Colson and Willard Flansburg, and one nephew, Willie Flansburg.
Survivors besides Helen include one sister, Barbara King of Day; two step-daughters, Carla Lewandowski (Paul) of Hadley and Amanda Cozzolino (Marvin) of Johnstown; three grandchildren, Zachary Lewandowski (Jessica Infield), Tyler Dickinson, and Hope Cozzolino; one great-granddaughter, Lainey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
