Dr. Trish Gibson is an Emotional and Behavior Intervention Specialist trained in behavioral and developmental approaches. She has expertise in student behavior and Positive Behavior Intervention Support. She provides Behavioral Support to individuals and their families in the North Charlotte/Lake Norman area struggling with behavioral challenges or emotional dysfunction. Services are offered in home settings, schools, and in daycare programs. She will work with, family members, teachers, and daycare programs to identify appropriate and effective responses to your child’s behaviors. She will support the individuals and caregivers with the tools and support they need to achieve and sustain positive behavior change. Dr. Gibson’s purpose is to offer one-on-one guidance and support in the teaching and delivery of effective behavioral techniques. Every family and every child is unique. Dr. Gibson believes there is neither “one way” nor “one secret formula” to effectively parent a child. She will assess your family’s unique needs, strengths and familial dynamics by offering practical, functional parenting skills and techniques. She will first meet with your family to identify needs and goals while observing and assessing your child in their environment to determine the most appropriate intervention strategies.
