Welcome to the Practice April!

April is a compassionate and dedicated licensed clinical social worker associate (LCSWA) who works with children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and grief. She uses a strengths-based approach to support clients in achieving their goals and improving their well-being.

April integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy to meet clients where they are and navigate life’s difficulties with resilience and confidence.

She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, along with a graduate certificate in Gerontology. April’s background equips her with the skills to provide thoughtful, developmentally appropriate care across the lifespan in a safe space where individuals feel heard, empowered, and capable of growth

Welcome to our practice Brianna Douglas, LCSW-A, LCAS-A!

My ideal client is someone who may be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or stuck—but is open to exploring their emotions and experiences in a safe and supportive space. They might be navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, or difficulty with emotional regulation and communication. Whether they are a child learning how to express big feelings, or an adult trying to reconnect with themselves, they come to therapy because they want relief, clarity, and change.
I help by creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. My approach is rooted in a strength-based perspective—focusing on the resilience and capabilities each client already has, even when they might not see it themselves.
I know how overwhelming it can feel to take the first step toward therapy—especially when life feels heavy, confusing, or uncertain. Whether you're a parent seeking support for your child, a teen trying to find your voice, or an adult navigating life’s challenges, you deserve a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I'm here when you're ready!

Ashley has always had a deep love for people and a passion for meeting them exactly where they are in life. This passion led her to earn a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Charlotte, where she gained a robust understanding of life transitions, from birth through end-of-life. This education, combined with extensive experience, has shaped the holistic and compassionate approach to therapy.

Her experience includes working with couples, adults, and adolescents, providing support through life’s challenges and transitions. She has worked within the school system as well as in behavioral homes for both boys and girls, developing a deep understanding of the unique struggles individuals face at different stages of life.

Committed to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space, Ashley offers guidance and support for those navigating relationship challenges, personal growth, or major life transitions. She's dedicated to walking alongside individuals on their journey toward healing and self-discovery. She is currently accepting clients in our Cornelius office and virtually!
