My name is Jennifer Jones and I’m 56 years old. I have been working out at In Motion for 1 year this April. I started this journey without any achievements in mind. In fact I fought it for a long time. My turning point was when I saw I picture someone had taken of me. I was shocked by how old, sad, and tired I looked. So, I agreed to one personal training session a week, which quickly became 3 sessions a week. I started to schedule daily things around my workouts, to make sure I didn’t miss and would stay consistent.

Now it’s just part of my routine. I feel better mentally and physically and My endurance has increased. My balance and coordination is so much better than when I started.

My favorite exercises would probably be leg press and the sled. My least favorite, definitely, is the dead mill, it’s the most challenging, especially as a finisher!!

But honestly, I don’t dislike any of it. Im actually grateful for all of it. Im grateful for my husband persistently encouraging me to try. Im grateful to Spencer for pushing and encouraging me without making a big deal about it. He can read a personality well. Bring on year two, I’m not quittin!
