As a Certified Golf Injury Practitioner through Professional Sports Care and the PGA Tour, I am now eligible to provide care to PGA Tour golfers on-site during tournaments. I am scheduled for events in both Rochester and Binghamton this summer, and I also hope to use this knowledge and expertise to help our local golfers heal, prevent injuries, and maximize performance on the course!

My certification program as a Professional Sports Care Golf Injury Practitioner culminated in an early December hands-on practical seminar at TPC Sawgrass in Jacksonville, Florida. We also toured the facility, including the fitness and treatment areas where we will be working in the coming months. This included analyzing the swing mechanics and treatment protocols of many of the top golfers on the PGA Tour today. I even got to play a few holes and do some chipping and putting at this beautiful facility!

Last year, while completing coursework toward my CCSP (Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician), I had the opportunity to attend a series of postgraduate seminars on the assessment and treatment of golf injuries and swing dysfunction, led by Dr. Thomas LaFountain and endorsed by the PGA Tour. Dr. LaFountain has directed the PGA Tour's on-site rehabilitation program for over 20 years and has been the personal chiropractor to dozens of professional golfers, including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, and Jack Nichlaus.
