I begin by listening to you. Your insight as a parent or caregiver is essential. From there, I use age-appropriate activities to observe how your child communicates. No pressure, no rushed checklists.

You’ll receive thoughtful feedback, and if therapy is recommended, we’ll work together on a plan that fits your child and your family.

Evaluations are the first step in getting support. They’re not scary, and they don’t mean something is wrong. They mean you’re taking action.

Your child might surprise you one day, then seem to stall the next. This doesn’t mean therapy isn’t working. It means they’re learning, practicing, and integrating new skills at their own pace.

Want to help your child communicate better? You've come to the right place!

If you are worried about your child's speech and language skills, or ability to communicate with others, I can help! My name is Ashley Maturo and I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. I have known from a young age that I wanted to be in the helping profession, and what better way then to help children find their voice. Being unable to communicate your wants and needs can be frustrating not only for the child, but also the families/caregivers. I work together with families and professionals to improve your child's ability to communicate effectively and increase their confidence and independence!
