Reading some letters from patients as I close up shop and clean out my desk at UMH-Sparrow Orthopedics. I am reminded of the positive impact I get to provide in the world and am truly grateful for the privilege and honor to do so. Ending one chapter in my career, and as I do so, I look forward to the next with nervous anticipation and excitement. Thank you to all my wonderful coworkers and partners, mentors and friends along this journey who have helped, pushed, challenged, and encouraged me along the way.

Last summer, I was blessed with the chance to move back to Michigan and the opportunity to join Sparrow Medical Group. Months later, an unforeseen announcement was made that Sparrow Health System would be joining University of Michigan Health. As of April 1, 2023, the process is official - no joke! Having earned my Bachelor's at U of M, it feels as though things are coming full circle. I, for one, am excited to see what the future has in store for the delivery of healthcare in Mid-Michigan. Go Blue!!

Sparrow Health System
Michigan Medicine

Sparrow has officially started a new chapter with U-M Health.

Today marks an incredibly important milestone in the history of Sparrow Health System as we officially join together with University of Michigan Health. This is the start of an exciting new chapter and enables our combined organization to expand services to Mid-Michigan residents, provide increased access to the highest level of care, and improve facilities and technology.

We are grateful for the opportunity to serve you. Moving forward, our focus will be on integrating care to best serve our patients, with an emphasis on keeping care local. Over time, we look forward to continuing to increase access to specialty care locally in the communities we serve. Sparrow.org/NewChapter
