American Preparedness Academy
The APA was founded under one principle and that is to help others gain knowledge and skills to be able to save themselves and the ones they love under disastrous circumstances. Of course the term "disastrous circumstances" is relative and could very well mean that lost $100 to a bad penny stock investment or your brother has fallen due to a heart attack, but both could be a disastrous circumstance at that moment in time for you and your family. What each of us determines disastrous is is up to each of us and should be defined determined by our current state and position in our own life.
Our founder was a Boy Scout many moons ago and took to heart the motto "Be Prepared". There have been many times in his life that those around him have turned to him because they knew he would have what they needed at that time or have the knowledge to handle what was happening. This has led him to try to help others in preparing, what comes natural to him he has found is a struggle to others and he has dedicated many years of his life getting prepared for the adventure of helping others get prepared. We are all getting prepared for something throughout the years of our lives but what makes the journey worth while is the ability to pass this information to the next group. Each generation should be capable of using the "old ways" just in case!
Preparing means different things to every person. To some it is having a savings account but to others is having everything ready for the "Apocalypse". We are here to help make sense of and help you develop a plan for the level of preparedness that you want to achieve. We will never tell you that you are wrong nor make you do certain things that you are neither ready for nor want to do. We do not teach that there is only one way because there are countless ways to be prepared for a whole plethora of things. We will be posting classes soon in "Disaster Preparedness" and look forward to helping you "GET PREPARED". In the meantime please take advantage of the classes that we are currently teaching in order to understand the next classes that we will be teaching and why we teach them.
