β¨Qigong is an ancient practice based on the same meridian system used in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. It involves simple and easy movements that are designed to optimize energy within the body, mind, and spirit. Qigong practices use breath, movement, self-massage, sound, visualization and mental intention to balance and harmonize the flow of energy (Qi) in the body. Qigong is usually done standing but can also be done seated. Qigong is appropriate for almost any body, in that itβs powerful without being strenuous.

This class will focus on releasing stress stored in the body and settling the nervous system. You will learn some practices you can take with you to use in daily life.
