Why did our team create TNT?
Top Notch Telehealth came from a brainstorming session post Covid pandemic. During this time, it was nearly impossible to get an appointment with your provider, and you usually had to sit out in your car until they called you in, get screened for Covid, and then the staff decide IF you were going to be seen. This created the perfect environment for dramatic changes in healthcare. As Nurse Practitioners, we realized that many people, including ourselves, are not comfortable being exposed to who knows what in the waiting room, or being told the provider can see us in 2-3 months. Urgent care and Emergency rooms are expensive even with insurance, without it, you pay for a lifetime. It became apparent to us that providing quality healthcare at the patient’s convenience and in the privacy of their own home is the future. We set out to start Top Notch Telehealth (TNT) with this in mind. TNT will provide quick, convenient healthcare while keeping the cost down to an affordable amount. We can keep the cost lower because we do not accept insurance, which makes the process affordable to us and our patients. TNT is perfect for people who either do not have insurance or have a large deductible, want to be seen quickly and in the convenience of their own home. Our practice has all the amenities you would expect in a brick-and-mortar office: we can order labs, radiologic studies, and prescribe or refill prescriptions for a fraction of a regular office visit. You may use your insurance for the studies and prescriptions or negotiate for a better cash price. We now have a brick and mortar office at 5959 S Staples where we offer the same great services listed above and we have added IV Infusion therapy, Vitamin Injections, Hormone replacement therapy, and weight loss.
