🚨 BIG NEWS FROM OUR GYM 🚨

We’re beyond proud to announce that three of our athletes have officially qualified for the CrossFit Semifinals:

🔥 Joaquin Dionio
🔥 Sebastian Banda
🔥 Meghan Nichols

This is a massive accomplishment in the world of CrossFit.

To get here, these athletes had to battle through the CrossFit Open and then advance through the CrossFit Quarterfinals, finishing among the top 2,000 athletes in the world in their divisions. Out of hundreds of thousands who start the season, only a small percentage make it this far.

This stage represents the top tier of competitive fitness—where the fittest athletes on earth fight for a shot at the CrossFit Games.

💥 What’s next? Semifinals.

They’ll now go head-to-head with elite athletes from around the world, taking on some of the toughest programming of the season. Only the very best will advance—but earning a spot here already places them among the elite in the sport.

This didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of:
• Early mornings & late nights
• Relentless discipline
• Countless hours of training
• And a mindset that refuses to quit

WELCOME COACH JOAQUIN 💪

We’re excited to introduce Joaquin Cordero as a Personal Trainer at Contender CrossFit. Welcome to the team, Coach Joaquin! 💪

Joaquin’s journey into fitness started with preparing for the military - pushing himself to be in the best shape possible. From there, he found powerlifting and became driven to constantly improve his strength and performance.

What he loves most about coaching is helping people achieve goals they once thought were out of reach! 🤩

His coaching “superpower” is his experience through every stage (being underweight, overweight, and in peak condition) allowing him to truly understand where people are starting and how to help them move forward! 🙌🏼

Favorite movement: Squats (he actually looks forward to leg day 😅)
