Last week, our Salud en Mis Manos - UTHealth Houston project partnered with First Methodist Houston, Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc., DeTar Family Medicine Center, and South Texas Family Planning & Health Corporation to provide cervical cancer screenings, mammogram referrals, and additional health support to 30 people in need! Thank you to United Way of the Crossroads and other collaborators for their support!

Their mobile unit was at Good Samaritans today, providing essential medical services to our clients. The free services offered today included health checks for both men and women, diabetes screening, breast exams, cholesterol and blood pressure checks, and more. What a valuable service to our community and an incredible partner for Good Samaritans. We’re already looking forward to your next visit in June!
