Student Veterans Organization - Texas A&M Corpus Christi Established to assist veterans with all aspects of the transition from military to civilian life

The SVO is open to ALL Texas A&M Corpus Christi students, veteran or non-veteran. The SVO was established to assist veterans with the transition from military to civilian life by creating a social and professional support network; to encourage scholarship, leadership and community outreach; to raise awareness and understanding of veteran issues on campus, in the local community and nationally; and to unite TAMU-CC student veterans to facilitate camaraderie.

For the fourth year in a row, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi has received the Gold Veterans Education Excellence Recognition Award (VEERA) from the Texas Veterans Commission!

Established by the Texas Legislature, the VEERA award recognizes universities and colleges that provide excellence in education and related services that significantly contribute to the academic success of student veterans and military-connected students.
