📣❤️‍🩹Saving Hope Counseling, PLLC is so excited to welcome our newest student intern, Piper White, from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi.

Piper White is a student counselor-in-training, who will be working under the supervision of Gabriela V. Cantu, MS, LPC-S. She has prior clinical experience in working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds experiencing mental health crises, supporting and advocating for the needs of children in foster care and providing neuropsychological evaluations for those with cognitive-related deficits and differences. Piper received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in Psychology and Biology from University of Houston - Downtown, and is currently working towards a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi.

Piper is passionate about working with clients who identify as Neurodivergent and those who have experienced complex trauma. She takes into consideration social, family and cultural systems, and the impact they have on everyday problems and situations. She believes healing is relational and has a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to her clinical practice. Piper shows up with an authentic warmth that encourages her clients to shine and rise to their fullest, most empowered self. Through creative strategies and collaboration, Piper helps clients recognize their worth by deconstructing shame and embracing their truth.

Hello! My name is Kylie Buremoh, and I am excited to join the Saving Hope team. I am currently a college student majoring in psychology, with a strong passion for understanding and supporting mental health. She enjoys working with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, teens, adults, and couples. 💡Our professional practice includes a Licensensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Professional Counselor Associates, Master Level Student Interns and Certified Life Coaches.

📣Saving Hope Counseling, PLLC would like to welcome, Logan Alves (student intern), to our private practice. 🛋️

Logan Alves is a student counselor-in-training beginning August 2025 with a foundation in both academic and practical mental health work. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, a Master of Science in Psychology from Arizona State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling at Angelo State University. She is being supervised by Gabriela V. Cantu, MS, LPC-S.🌸

Logan has experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds and feels a strong calling to support those in crisis. Her approach to counseling is collaborative and person-centered, focused on creating a safe, respectful space where clients feel supported and heard.

Recognizing that what works for one client may not work for another, Logan tailors her therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s unique needs and preferences. She prioritizes individualized care, holding space and supporting clients on their journeys toward healing and personal growth.

💕Gloria Miranda is a Counselor Student-in-Training with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families through trauma, crisis, and major life transitions. She specializes in working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, Spanish-speaking families, and couples, offering bilingual counseling in English and Spanish.

💕She earned dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Texas at Brownsville (UTB) in 2002 and is currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, with an expected graduation in May 2026.

💕Gloria has extensive experience in crisis intervention, trauma support, and mental health services, helping individuals and couples manage depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship challenges. She has worked with survivors of domestic violence, individuals coping with trauma, and families facing dementia-related difficulties. Taking a holistic approach, she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to address the emotional impact of trauma while promoting stabilization, healing, and resilience, while also connecting clients to supportive resources for enhanced, coordinated care.

💕She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and a certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) assessment facilitator, equipping her to support both individuals and couples in strengthening their emotional well-being and relationships. She is also an active member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry (AAGP), reflecting her dedication to mental health and aging-related care.

Nancy Le is a student counselor-in-training, who will be working under the supervision of Gabriela V. Cantu, MS, LPC-S. She had prior experience in working with youth on the autism spectrum, and has also had experience in working to advocate for and provide resources to adults who had mental health needs and intellectual disabilities. Nancy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, and is currently working towards a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Colorado Christian University. Nancy is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and young adults, and will apply various theoretical approaches and techniques in order to help meet the needs of each client.
