As the temperatures drop, we’re seeing an increase in flu, RSV, and strep throat in our community. Here are a few symptoms parents should keep an eye on:

🌡️ Flu: Fever, chills, body aches, fatigue, coughing
😮‍💨 RSV: Cough, congestion, fast breathing, wheezing, trouble eating
😷 Strep Throat: Sore throat, fever, swollen glands, stomach pain (especially in kids)

Hand, Foot & Mouth season is here, and we’re seeing a few cases in the community. Here’s what parents should know:

Hand, Foot & Mouth is a common childhood virus that causes small blisters on the hands, feet, and inside the mouth. While uncomfortable, it’s usually mild and gets better on its own within 7–10 days.

What to watch for:
• Fever
• Sore throat
• Reduced appetite
• Rash or tiny blisters on hands, feet, or around the mouth

How to help your little one:
• Keep them hydrated
• Offer cold drinks or popsicles for mouth soreness
• Use acetaminophen or ibuprofen for comfort (if age-appropriate)
• Keep them home until fever-free for 24 hours and feeling better
