In observance of the Christmas holiday, the Blood Center has adjusted operating hours. The Coastal Bend Blood Center will close early on Christmas Eve, be closed on Christmas Day & will reopen with normal business hours on December 26th.

We encourage donors to plan their visits accordingly & thank you for helping ensure a safe & steady blood supply throughout the holiday season. Your generosity makes a lifesaving difference, especially during the holidays!! 🎄🎅

The Coastal Bend Blood Center was honored to host the monthly Coastal Bend Regional Advisory Council, Trauma Service Area Whole Blood Committee meeting. This committee reflects an exceptional collaboration among regional trauma centers, OB and blood bank teams, EMS agencies, air medical partners and CBRAC staff.

Together, these partners are working to build and sustain a regional, rotational pre-hospital and in-hospital whole blood system for the Coastal Bend. 🩸

The Coastal Bend Blood Center was honored to once again participate in the Volunteer Services Council Angel Tree Program supporting the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center. Through this program, our team helped provide gifts to adults with special needs, spreading joy during the holiday season.

We are truly grateful to the staff at the Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center for presenting us with a Helping Hands Appreciation plaque. This recognition means so much to our team and reinforces our commitment to serving our community with compassion and care. ❤️
