We enjoyed the sharing of God’s word this morning from Karen, chaplain for Hospice in the Pines. We appreciate the inspirational time, love and joyful singing that she brings.

“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!” Psalm 100:1-2

Drinking up cherry 7-Up floats, receiving Valentines, making Valentine necklaces, coloring Valentine color pages and singing along to classic music like “Cupid”. Love is definitely in the air! ❤️💕🥰 🍒 😍

Thanks to Brent from Three Oaks Hospice for coming to call bingo and bringing great prizes! The residents had fun! 😃

I gave them Valentine’s craft materials and told them to create whatever their heart desired. No rules, except have fun. They made adorable mobiles and door hangers! I think they did a wonderful job and yes, they had a blast doing it! Just look at how proud they are of their creations! 😍💜🎀🌈❤️🥰

We would like to extend our appreciation to Hospice in the Pines’ chaplain, Ms. Karen, for sharing the word of God with us. She shared a passage from the Book of Psalms.

The Book of Psalms is universally regarded as the Bible's "hymnbook" and a "literary Temple" for prayer, containing the full spectrum of human emotion from deep lament to joyous praise.

Also, thanks to Mr. Lynn Sasser, Gentiva Hospice’s chaplain, for also sharing a passage from the Book of Psalms.

Did we get the balloons out again? Yep! Did they love hitting them with the noodles? Yep! Did this activity help warm them up on a cold day? It sure did! We love keeping our residents active, warm and happy! 🎈

Hands-on activities were the focus this month. We made winter door hangers, snowflake decor, sorted buttons and put together box puzzles. We like to make crafts, decorate and stay busy. 🥰
