Cortland Prevention Resources provides evidence-based drug, alcohol, and to***co prevention services and educational programs for youth and families. We collaborate with other Cortland County agencies, school districts, and businesses to promote positive change and build healthy communities through educational programs, workshops, and training. We work on policy and enforcement efforts to reduce underage drinking and create positive alternative activities for youth. Cortland Prevention Resources is a division of Family & Children's Counseling Services.

There is no health without mental health.

World Mental Health Day this year focuses on the urgent need to support the mental health and psychosocial needs of people affected by humanitarian emergencies.
Crises such as natural disasters, conflicts, and public health emergencies cause emotional distress, with one in five individuals experiencing a mental health condition.
On this World Mental Health Day, let us intensify our efforts to create a world where mental health is valued, protected, and accessible for all, especially in the face of adversity.
