New parents often worry about food allergies or intolerances when they start solids.

Try these tips:
✳️Introduce 1 new ingredient at a time
✳️Wait a week between new foods
✳️Watch for signs of irritation (skin rash, runny nose, or diaper rash are common ones)
✳️If you see signs, wait a week and try the food again
✳️If your baby reacts again, wait until one year to try again (or ask your doctor)

🚰 Fast Facts: Does your baby need water?🚰

✳️ Under 6 months, human milk contains all the water your baby needs (even in hot climates)
✳️ Even over six months, many babies & toddlers still get all the water they need from human milk; others may benefit from water with solid foods to avoid constipation
✳️ If your tap water is safe for you, it’s safe for your baby

"Q: How do booster seats protect children?
A: A booster seat raises and positions a child so the vehicle’s lap-and-shoulder belt fits properly.

The raised seating surface of a booster seat helps children bend their knees over the booster seat. In turn, this keeps the lap belt snug across the child’s hips and upper thighs and the shoulder belt across the child’s chest."
