"Did you know that vehicle seat belts are made for adults and will not fit children correctly until they are approximately 4’9” tall? Incorrectly fitting seat belts can increase injury risk during a crash. This is why it is important to keep children in booster seats until they are 4’9” and can maintain their position for the duration of their trip."

As the year comes to a close, we’re asking our community to stand with us.

CDP doulas have supported more than 1,400 families, speaking 10+ languages, offering the kind of culturally rooted, relationship-based care that transforms outcomes.

But Oregon’s Medicaid infrastructure is in crisis — and the grants that fund training, matching, and supervision are being cut statewide.

Without community support, programs like ours cannot continue providing the care families rely on.

If you’re making year-end donations, please consider the Community Doula Program.

🎁 Your gift fills critical gaps, supports doula internships, and keeps culturally-matched care available for the families who need it most.

You can also give a meaningful CDP art card as a holiday gift.

🎉 We’re celebrating a year of care that makes a difference. 🎉

Together, we strengthened doula care, expanded access to essential resources, and supported families through pregnancy, birth, and beyond—with outcomes that show the power of community-based care.

We’re deeply grateful to everyone who made this work possible.

💛 Your gift to the Community Doula Program is doubled right now.

A generous supporter has offered a $5,000 matching grant to CDP.

Every birthing family deserves culturally matched support—and this model works. CDP doulas improve birth and breastfeeding outcomes for families most often underserved.

But Medicaid covers the birth, not the infrastructure that makes doula care accessible. As CDP heads into 2026 with a funding gap, this match is critical.

✨ Right now:
• $50 becomes $100
• $200 becomes $400
• $500 becomes $1,000

Help us claim these matching funds and keep this care available as we head into 2026.

🎁 Holiday gifts of $25+ can include a CDP art card.
