This month, Living Studios Gallery welcomes artists TJM and Megan Bretbrunner, both participants in the art program at Living Studios of Cornerstone Associates! The gallery will be open this Thursday from 3:30 - 6 during the Corvallis Arts Walk.

TJM

TJM drafts mechanical drawings that represent houses, cities, and engineered landscapes and structures. His multiple views and versions of 3-dimensional objects on 2-d paper are alive with invention, design, and mechanical systems.

TJM is an artist and designer with an educational background in engineering. His studies in engineering inspire both his subject matter and drawing style. TJ currently particpates in the studio program at Living Studios.

Megan Bretbrunner

Megan says, “Art is a good way of expressing or channeling emotions; it's almost like therapy to me. My style is kind of Anime, I got into Manga in middle school. Watercolor is my favorite medium.”

Megan’s drawings of faces and characters have a gestural quality that captures emotion, interaction, and persona, and feel both personal and universal. Megan currently participates in the studio program at Living Studios, creates videos for YouTube, and works as an illustrator.
