Why I POUND?
I found the Pound rockstar workout about 3 years ago and I can honestly say it was “LOVE at first sweat!” I had never felt a workout that I connected with and enjoyed more than Pound. I was over 100 lbs heavier, unhealthy, and frustrated when I walked into my 1st class. I was afraid of all the things I wouldn’t be able to do but then the music came on, the beat took over, and I let my inner rockstar out. Pound has been a key component in my health journey and I want to share this workout with as many people as possible. You truly can pick-up a set of ripstix in my class, “GRAB THE BEAT AND LET EVERYTHING ELSE GO!”
Pound fitness is for everyBODY; within the workout there is a huge range of motion. When i first started my stix didn't hit the ground because I couldn't do a full squat or lunge but my body and mind still benefited from the work I was doing at my own level. Music helps you push through each movement and before you know it, you have had a 50 minute cardio workout that hits arms, legs, core and more! Not to mention, Pound lets you HIT as hard and as LOUD as you want. This part of the workout it the BEST emotional release you can experience.
